My beautiful mother had 3 son's and 4 grandchildren. She suffered 2 strokes and a leg amputation over 9 years. Despite her disability, she had a real zest for life and never complained. She was extremely courageous and had a heart of solid gold. My mum had 2 brothers and 4 sisters who she absolutely adored. Every day we miss her cheeky laugh and a smile that could light up a room. Without her, the world is a much darker and less magical place to be. We lost our best friend, but heaven gained a precious diamond the day our mum left this life.

Christmas without you here with me,
can never possibly be the same.
But I carry an Angel within my heart;
one so precious, who has your name.
An Angel forever watching over me,
at Christmas time and over the year.
Although you can’t be here anymore,
inside my heart, you are so very near.
There is no special present for you,
