My beautiful mother had 3 son's and 4 grandchildren. She suffered 2 strokes and a leg amputation
over 9 years. Despite her disability, she had a real zest for life and never complained. She was
extremely courageous and had a heart of solid gold. My mum had 2 brothers and 4 sisters who she
absolutely adored. Every day we miss her cheeky laugh and a smile that could light up a room.
Without her, the world is a much darker and less magical place to be. We lost our best friend, but
heaven gained a precious diamond the day our mum left this life.

Through the gentle breeze and the stormy seas
Your love comes flooding through
A sense of your surroundings
Letting us know that it is you
A heavenly sky with sparkling flames
Becomes visible in the skies
Appearing is your shadows
As you turned to wave goodbye
A mellow whisper in my ear
Thanking all for whats been done
And letting us know that youre ok
As you glide towards the sun
No matter what the outcome
No matter how much we cried
You're letting us know that your still here
It was only the body that died
For your memory holds no boundaries
Everyday it is kept alive
Its gives us warmth and energy
That encourages our days to thrive
Just keep on remembering me
In your shadows I'll walk with you
And guide you through your darkest hours
In everything you say or do
For absence cannot be changed for us
We accept what had to be done
We cannot change the wishes of God
If he wants you to be the one
When you reach the golden promised land
And the gates are open wide
It will be there you'll find great comfort
And your tears you'll try to hide
As you settle in your new found world
You'll send us a glittering prize
It will brighten up the darkest day
And bring a tear to our eyes
Thank you for your presence
And for all the memories too
You left this world something beautiful
It was the fact that we had you.

not to money or riches can friendship be compared.
There's nothing in life that can compare
to a caring friend who is always there.

Drifting off to sleep last night,
I felt you hold me really tight.
You whispered softly in my ear
"I love you darling and will always be here."
I felt your presence, oh so strong,
for which I've waited so very long.
I closed my eyes and dreamed of you
and of all the things we used to do.
The laughter, the fun and the happy years,
Just made my eyes fill up with tears.
But I felt you brush them gently away
saying "Don't be sad, I'm not far away."
Your angel wings were wrapped around me,
and I felt perfect peace and tranquility.
Your ice blue eyes looked into mine
and I heard you whisper "You'll be fine".
Tonight when I go to bed to sleep
I know again that I will weep,
but when I feel your wings around me
I know I will sleep so much more soundly.
And in the morning when I open my eyes,
I'll open the window and look to the skies.
I know you'll be there in heaven above
And showering me with all your love.

As i float along the milky way
I arrive at heavens door
And to my suprise theres people
And faces ive seen before
I feel happy and elated
A golden gate opened for me
As i step inside this place
Im amazed by what i see
Theres trees lined with gold
There flowers that never die
And teardrop dont exist
Im so happy, but i cant cry
Theres harps playing softly
And friends that i once knew
Hold out their hand to greet me
In the this land of sky blue
Theres a smell of the flowers
Its like nothing ive smelled before
Theres gold dust about my feet
And a welcome on my garden door
Yes i like this place called heaven
Even though i will miss you so
But i will visit you often

And as i thank my father beside me

My Dear Beautiful mum,
I'm thinking of you today on this the 11th anniversary of your passing. Life has never been the same for us since you have gone, you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. When i see a beautiful bird in flight or feel the soft cool rain upon my face, i know you are there watching and guiding me through every minute of my waking and resting day. The world will never hold the same magic or chalm without you, but i hope you are enjoying the freedom of heaven with your very special Sister's and brother's for whom you love so much.
